Southeast Asia has high temperatures all year round, and many buyers worry about the performance of PC sheets in high-temperature environments. This article explains the truth.

Heat resistance range
PC sheet can withstand a long-term working temperature of -40°C to 120°C, which is completely stable in the high-temperature climate of Southeast Asia.

Thermal expansion
High temperature will cause slight expansion, so expansion gaps must be reserved during installation to avoid arching and cracking.
UV stability
High temperature plus strong sunlight will accelerate the aging of sheets without UV coating. Sheets with UV coating are not affected.

Material stability
Virgin material PC sheets have stable performance and will not soften or deform at high temperatures. Recycled material sheets may deform.

Suggestions for Southeast Asia:
- Choose UV-coated virgin material sheets.
- Reserve sufficient expansion gaps.
- Do not use dark sheets in extremely hot areas (light-colored reflection is better).
Our sheets have been tested for a long time in Southeast Asia and can be used safely.
