The Challenge
The client’s agricultural facility spans over 5,000 square meters and includes multiple poultry houses, feed storage areas, and worker facilities. The key challenges included: the need for excellent natural light transmission to reduce electricity costs for artificial lighting, resistance to extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C in winter to 40°C in summer, protection against UV radiation that could harm livestock, and the requirement for a lightweight yet impact-resistant material that could withstand hail and strong winds common in the region.
