This creative project involved building a colorful art pavilion in a public park using Jietai solid polycarbonate sheets in multiple vibrant colors. The Challenge
The art pavilion project presented unique design challenges. The colored panels needed to maintain color consistency across different batches and thicknesses. Our Solution
We supplied Jietai 3mm solid polycarbonate sheets in red, blue, yellow, green, and orange colors. The solid sheets offer uniform color distribution with high light transmission, creating vibrant translucent panels. The lightweight material allowed for simple aluminum frame construction, reducing structural costs. Sheets were easily cut and thermoformed on-site for the curved sections. The co-extruded UV layer ensures color retention for over 10 years of outdoor exposure.
Results
