Project Overview
This project involved the installation of hollow polycarbonate sheet partitions for a modern office space requiring natural light optimization, acoustic privacy, and aesthetic appeal. The office partition project faced several challenges. First, the space needed to retain maximum natural light distribution across the floor plan. Second, the partitions had to provide sufficient acoustic separation between work zones without using heavy, opaque walls. Our Solution
We supplied Jietai 8mm clear hollow polycarbonate sheets for the partition panels. The hollow multi-wall structure provides excellent sound insulation while allowing over 70% light transmission. The sheets were cut to custom sizes on-site, framed with aluminum profiles, and installed as floor-to-ceiling partition walls. The lightweight nature of the hollow sheets (only 1/3 the weight of glass) significantly reduced structural load and installation time.
Results
Over 200 square meters of hollow polycarbonate partitions were installed across three office floors. The project was completed 40% faster than the original glass partition plan.
